The Nipsey Hussle Proposal

In 2024, I wrote a $100,000 grant proposal under the banner of PRISM AI Consultants. The mission: democratize AI access for African-American entrepreneurs and professionals through education, coaching, and community.

I named it the Nipsey Hussle Proposal because that is whose philosophy it embodies - the marathon, not the sprint. Generational wealth built through ownership, education, and community reinvestment.

What the Proposal Funded

The $100K allocation was designed across five areas:

Course Creation - $10,000 Up to 20 AI courses at $500 each. Topics: Real Estate AI, Investing AI, Advanced Government Contracting, and AI implementation for Black-owned businesses.

Marketing and Client Acquisition - $60,000

• $30,000 in digital advertising across LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, and Instagram
• $20,000 in content creation (video, written, podcast)
• $10,000 in influencer partnerships and referral programs

Networking and Public Speaking - $10,000 Podcasts, webinars, conferences, and referral programs to build the community that sustains the mission.

Community Engagement and Outreach - $10,000 The AI Ambassador Program: trained community members who carry the education into their local networks. Localized and translated content for international markets.

Contingency Fund - $10,000 Because every real plan accounts for what it does not know yet.

Why This Exists

Nipsey Hussle understood that the way you fight systemic poverty is not by protesting it - it is by building around it. You own your masters. You own your block. You invest in the people around you.

AI is the current leverage point. The gap between those who understand it and those who do not will compound for decades. This proposal was an attempt to close that gap - not with charity, but with education, tools, and access to the same technology that Fortune 500 companies are using.
